Adult Spelling Bee

Join us for our second Adult Spelling Bee!  Six (or more) teams of three will compete for glory and bragging rights!  Register at the adult circulation desk by February 24 to participate.  Excess entries will be wait-listed. 

This is a points-based spelling bee.  Teams will have 30 seconds to collaborate on the spelling of their word and write their response on a dry-erase board.  Spelling teams will also have three "cheats" available during the first five rounds.

The public is invited to attend and will vote for their favorite team.  Teams are encouraged to come up with clever names, decorate their tables, and yes, bribes may be useful!

Light refreshments will be available.
