Join the Sugar Creek Historical Society for the annual ice cream social on the back lawn of the Thorntown Heritage Museum, 124 W. Main St. The Thorntown Bluegrass Jammers will provide live music from the museum porch from 6:30-8:00 while visitors enjoy ice cream with chocolate, strawberry, or caramel sauces and assorted cakes, pies, and cookies. A wide assortment of desserts will be available as well. Bottled water will be provided.
There is no charge for the event but donations are welcomed for programs and repairs to museum property. Participants should bring their own chairs. Tours of the museum will be offered during the program.
